Coarbegh was founded as a side-project of Poor Genetic Material, one of Germany’s best artrock bands. Since the release of their second album Dark Sky Reserve, Coarbegh has moved towards the territory of ambient music. Their truly original music is characterized by the tension that is created by the interplay of Philipp Jaehne's synthesizers and electronics and Pia Darmstaedter’s flute.
